SEJARAH INTELEKTUAL KEAGAMAAN HARAMAYN ABAD PERTENGAHAN AKHIR

Abstrak

This study aims to determine (1) the history of intellectual development in Haramayn, (2) the history of religious development in Haramayn. The research method used is a qualitative research method, with a literature study approach. The results showed that (1) Intellectual activity that occurred at that time was more inclined to the study of Hadith studies focused on high-isnad or superior isnads ('uluw al-isnad or al-isnad al-'ali), bearing in mind that Mecca and Medina are the main centers of the Hadith. This is not difficult for us to understand, because the Prophet saw the source of the Hadith, lived and started the teachings of Islam there (2) Whereas the diversity activities in Haramayn are more inclined towards sufistic diversity activities
