Education is the most basic thing and the main capital to determine the future of the Indonesian nation and shape one's personality in achieving the survival of the nation and state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Through Law no. 20 of 2003 the Government of Indonesia seeks and organizes national education so that every citizen has the same opportunities in obtaining education, according to the stages, namely: Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SLTP), Senior High School (SLTA) to to Higher Education (PT) Seeing the phenomena that occur Various problems can arise among students in determining their future in the future, especially regarding the career or work they will do after graduating from college, researchers are interested in conducting research on the extent of the problem with the title: "Student Perceptions Management of Islamic Education on Careers at the Islamic High School of Nias. For this reason, there are several objectives to be achieved in this research, namely: To find out how students understand about careers. The steps used in this study are sociological approaches that are qualitative in nature, starting from data collection, population and samples, both primary and secondary. These data will be explored in the literature that is deemed relevant. After the authors research and analyze, the authors conclude that students' understanding of careers is evidenced by statements of ability in career preparation where as many as 1 respondent (04.00%) can be stated strongly agree, as many as 20 respondents (83.00%) agree, as many as 3 respondents (13.00%) ) do not agree. This proves that the provision of career guidance lecture programs to students can help students in planning or planning their careers. This is certainly very beneficial and helps students to be better able to prepare themselves to face their future life.
