KONSEP JIWA MANUSIA DALAM ALQURAN
Abstract
Human totality means that humans have external and internal or physical and physical aspects. This is as implied by Alquran surah al-Ra'd verse 10. The word soul in the Koran is known by the word Nafs. Used in two senses, namely the nafs in terms of life, and the nafs which contains the overall meaning of something and its essence refers to the personal self. The Qur'an divides the levels of the nafs in two major groups, namely the high dignity and the low dignity nafs. A high self-respect is possessed by those who fear, fear Allah, and hold fast to His instructions and avoid His prohibitions. Whereas the low dignity nafs is owned by those who oppose Allah's commands and who disregard His provisions, as well as those who are heretical, who tend to behave in a deviant manner and commit abominations and denials. Human nafs (soul) is explained in the holy qoran there are three levels, from the highest to the lowest in sequence, namely: 1) al-nafs almuthma'innah, 2) al-nafs al-lawwāmah and 3) al -nafs al-ammārah
