HISTORISITAS DAN DINAMIKA PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Character education is actually nothing new for the people of Indonesia. Even since the beginning of independence, the New Order era, and now the reform era has taken many steps in the framework of character education with different names and forms. In its journey the application of character education is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, it is necessary to involve all components. All components are called tripusat education, in which there is a synergy between parents, educational institutions, and society. Each component must be committed to shaping the behavior and character of a child. If one of the components does not participate, there will be inequality
